"This is the worst place I have ever worked at in my life they don't value their employees safety or well-being none of the cameras work they don't have a safe to keep the money in so we are expected to hold over $2,000 in our register all day long risking getting robbed and no way to prove who did it or how they did it or when they did it they make you clock out for 15-minute breaks and have no regard are you having a life besides working for themNoneNo cameras that work"

"Let me start off with the gm at the particular store had no idea what he was doing multiple people stole on the only day I worked there. Store was a complete mess. They had me fill out new hire paperwork and started me the same day. The next morning I woke up to a text saying they have moved forward with their hiring process. Nothing else. And no words about how I’m getting paid despite how many times I’ve asked. Don’t bother. On top of that the lady who was working there to help get the store back on track was a very self centered woman. She was always snappy and always yelling. Not ever interested in this company and will never buy from themgoing hereNothingEverything"

"You make $10 an hour they didn't even raise the managers wages when New Mexico minimum wage went up. They do not pay you on holidays they are open. They don't have any benefits. At all. Not for hourly employees anyway and it's not $9 to $11 it's $10 an hour and they want you to live there. I also believe the hire ups are prejudice.My store manager was good about working with my hoursNo benefits what so ever."

"The manager there does not work at all, I was supposed to get paid more then a part timer and they never gave me my raise I deserve, I do not recommend anyone going there, they leave you alone on the busiest days and they never come back, it's such total dramaNoneThey rip you off"

"I was hired in as a store manager and was compensated rather well, but the DMs are as disrespectful and as unhelpful as they come. My DM would spend 20 minutes yelling at me instead of answering the question I called with. They would call me names and tell me my work was awful, even though it busted my butt at the store 6, sometimes 7, days a week. They do not like to train people, but also do not like to take responsibility when that person has any issues. Do not recommend working here."

"The full time I worked there it was very difficult. Not enough employees and overworked for little money. Also the DM was a pompous jerk! He talked down on women. Not a place I’d recommend working. You bust your butt off to be treated like garbage. Not worth while, even for a first time position."

"This job is mostly working by yourself. Running the whole store by yourself putting up truck, running walls, changing posters and displays. Only have someone else when you are closing or on weekends. Low pay for everything you have to do but for the most part customers are great. The other store managers are great to."

"The hardest part of about working at shoe department is trying to sale a product to someone that doesn’t want the shoes in the first place an then you don’t get the amount on money they you made for your check if you don’t seek the amount of shoes"

"I was there for 7 months. The manager would yell at her employees and key holders in front of customers. She would steal money from the safe, she stole sneakers from the store and the District Manager did nothing about this. Horrible company to work for."

"The pay is $9 for a key holder. The management lies to suit themselves. My manager was sending something to the home office with a note that was a complete lie, luckily I found it. I told the District managerNothingEverything"

"The benefits are no good. The health insurance provided is expensive and just awful. There is a lot of work and responsibilities with being a store manager under this company. So much that it’s honestly not worth what you make. They drag their feet when it comes to raises so you better accept what you make at the moment. No appreciation ever. The company and upper management show extreme favoritism to others. The company is unorganized and doesn’t really follow proper policies."

"Let a manager disrespect employees no matter what and get way with. Screaming at them on the sale floor stand over them about a sale you rang up making sure you don’t get the sale (commission)."

"Management and higher up are completely lazy . Nothing gets done . The store is always a mess . When looking for a shoe for a customer half the time it’s no where to be found . Not enough employees . Employees leave within 3 to 6 months"

ASSISTANT MANAGER (Former Employee) says

"As an Assistant Store Manager you would expect to get at least 40 hours but you only get 32-36. If you are a Store Manager you have to work 48 hours a week to get your salary ( they count the 8 hours as Overtime). I think that is horrible. It was a laid back environment not including truck days and inventory days.It is a job. Minimal SupervisionPay, hours, benefits"

"Worst place to work. Favoritism shown in the staff. Unfair advancements for those favorited. Even if you work hard you won’t get anywhere here. It’s not worth it. Staff is friendly at first until management decides you’re no good. They belittle you and mess with your head."
